Lane Tech Halloween criteria
Ghouls, goblins, and ghosts! Oh my! Halloween falls on a Friday this year at Lane, so naturally there will be many costumes to be seen the day of the eerie holiday. However, don’t break out the bloody butcher knives and chilling masks just yet.
According to Mr. Milsap, Dean of Students, there are certain guidelines to follow when dressing up at school.
First of all, there are no masks allowed at school. Although this rule is Halloween related, this rule applies to the school every single day of the year as well for safety reasons.
No weapons are allowed. This includes both fake and real weapons of any kind. This also ensures safety of the student body.
Any items that are prank related (including eggs and anything else that can be thrown at teachers and students) are strictly prohibited. Although this rule is always enforced, students must be reminded on a holiday that is known for its pranks.
Lastly, remember to have a safe and excellent Halloween, Lane Tech!
