Grace Gilson is currently a junior at Lane and this is her first year writing for The Warrior. She is a member of Lane’s debate team and has received awards, such as the Novice City Octofinals Award for her outstanding work on the team. She was also part of Lane’s ‘Zine Club’ where she wrote a couple short pieces. She grew up around Lane and in a couple years, she hopes to attend Berkeley University in California, where over the summer she took classes in debate, feminist theory, and journalism.
