#TBT: Green and Gold Gala

Over half a century ago, Lane hosted gala events and a banquet to honor significant names in the engineer field during Chicago Engineers’ Week. Among those celebrated were Mr. Hans Hasen, Chariman of CEW, and James Julian and Gary Guth, essay winners, and president of the Illinois Institute of Technology.
On April 17, Lane will be hosting its own Green & Gold Gala event. The event will be hosted by Friends of Lane, and will function as a fundraising event for students, parents, and alumni to give back to Lane. Attendees are given the opportunity to bid on such activities like “shadow days,” which would give them the opportunity to shadow an architect, veterinarian, teacher, and more. Bidding will begin at $25. You are not required to attend the gala in order to submit your bid.
