Gilbert Marin is in his junior year at Lane. He took journalism as an opportunity to voice his opinion to his peers and community. Gilbert has an interest in writing about Arts and Entertainment. In his free time, Martin plays in a punk rock band where he plays drum. He also enjoys going to the movies with his friends. He resides in the Logan Square area of Chicago. When Martin grows up, he sees himself pursuing music and being a professional performer.
