Yaniya Gilford, Managing Editor
Yaniya is a senior at Lane and is a member of the Omega Program. This is Yaniya’s second year at The Champion. Yaniya participated in the Princeton Summer Journalism Program (PSJP) over the summer while also being a camp counselor at the Chicago Park District. Her dream is to be a published author or writer for Teen Vogue in the future. Yaniya plans to attend college after graduation and major in either Journalism or Political Science.
