Ruby Thompson is a senior in her second year with The Champion. She can often be seen taking photos on the sidelines during Lane sports games, and she loves covering local school news. She has spent a summer abroad in Spain, where she had the chance to explore the culture and language. She is also president of the photography club.

Two Vietnamese Club members perform the Lion dance, a traditional dance in Vietnam and other Asian countries. The Vietnamese Club’s performance tells the story of a group of people who stumble upon a Buddhist village that shows them the tradition of Lion dancing for good fortune and prosperity, which brings them closer together as a community.
